Ab heute gibt es unseren neuen Song Nordsee überall da, wo man Musik hören kann!
Der Song hat im Gegensatz zu unseren letzten Songs einen klassischeren, epischeren Touch und ist ein bisschen back to the roots wenn man so will. Außerdem ist es unser erster deutscher Song seit Jahren!
Textlich geht es um die Liebe zum Meer und um die tiefe Sehnsucht, die man damit verbindet. Ein wenig romantisch, aber vor allem Episch!
Es ist außerdem der letzte Song den wir veröffentlichen, bevor wir so langsam auf Album Nr. 4 zusteuern…

Our new song Nordsee is out on all platforms!
In contrast to our last songs, the song has a more classic, epic touch and is a bit back to the roots. It’s also our first German song in years!
The lyrics are about the love for the sea and the deep longing associated with it. A little romantic, but above all epic!
It’s also the last song we’re releasing before we slowly head towards album no. 4…
Forever Evil OUT NOW!
As you may know, we record, mix and master our music ourselves. This has the advantage that we retain complete control over our works in these processes. One disadvantage, of course, is that the quality of our music can’t quite keep up with the work of other professional studios. However, if you listen to our releases over the last few years, you can hear a clear improvement in the mix and sound.
Since our last album we have released a total of three new songs, two last year and one this year. As you may have noticed, our latest song Hail To The AI sounds much more powerful than the two songs from last year, even though the recording process was the same. This is purely due to the fact that we have acquired some new plugins and skills that have allowed us to release this song in a much better quality.
However, as the basis of these three songs is exactly the same, we decided to simply remaster the two songs from last year and release them again in a better quality.
And that’s why our new mini EP Forever Evil, with the two remastered songs, is available from today.
Hail To The AI OUT NOW!
Our new song Hail To The AI is out now on all platforms!
It is the first Evil Dream song on which Lars has recorded all guitar and bass tracks and it’s a blast!
Thematically, we were inspired by sci-fi films such as Terminator or Blade Runner, in which technology dominates humans – but there is also a reference to current developments in the field of AI.
However, our intention is not to spread panic about AI, as the films mentioned above definitely do not reflect reality.

Last Christmas OUT NOW!
Weihnachten steht vor der Tür und während wir noch fleißig an Album Nr. 4 schrauben kam uns die Idee, unsere instrumentale Coverversion von Last Christmas mal zu remastern. Im Laufe des Prozesses haben wir dann noch ein wenig Gesang dazu aufgenommen und hatten plötzlich eine komplette Coverversion des Songs. Nach Rücksprache mit ein paar Freunden war klar: den Song müssen wir noch mal veröffentlichen!

Christmas is just around the corner and while we are still working on album no. 4, we had the idea of remastering our instrumental cover version of Last Christmas. In the course of the process we added some vocals and suddenly had a complete cover version of the song. After consulting with a few friends, it was clear that we had to release the song again!
So from today you can stream our cover version of Last Christmas on all platforms!

Ab heute gibt es unseren neuen Song Forever überall da wo man Musik streamen kann. Er ist ein wenig anders als unsere bisherigen Songs und stellt sogar ein Novum für uns dar: es ist der erste EVIL DREAM Song mit einem komplett clean gesungenen Refrain überhaupt.

Our new song Forever is now available on all platforms. It’s a little different from our previous songs and even represents a novelty for us: it’s the first EVIL DREAM song ever with a completely clean sung chorus.

Live & In Colour OUT NOW!
Heute ist es soweit und Live & In Colour ist endlich erschienen. Als ich das Projekt damals gestartet habe war nie geplant, irgendwann mal Live aufzutreten. Und jetzt, fünf Jahre später, veröffentlichen wir ein Livealbum.
In der Zeit hat sich viel getan. Vor zwei Jahren haben Lars und ich begonnen die Songs zu arrangieren und zu proben, um diese dann eineinhalb Jahre später zum ersten Mal auf die Bühne zu bringen.
Ein großer Erfolg wie wir finden, den wir mit diesem Release feiern wollen!

Today is the day and Live & In Colour is finally out! When I started the project back then, I never planned to perform the songs live at some point. And now, five years later, we’re releasing a live album.
A lot has happened in that time. Two years ago Lars and I started arranging and rehearsing the songs two and then brought them to the stage for the first time a year and a half later.
A great success in our opinion, which we want to celebrate with this release!
Himmelwärts Remastered OUT NOW!
Ab heute gibt es eine remasterte Version von Himmelwärts überall da wo man Musik streamen kann!
Der Song ist aus dem Jahr 2022 und erschien erstmals auf dem Album Ad Astra.
Aufgrund des komplexeren Arrangements war es schwierig den Song zu mixen und ich war mit dem Ergebnis nie zu hundert Prozent zufrieden.
Deswegen habe ich über zwei Jahre später den Song noch einmal angepackt, umarrangiert, neu gemixt und gemastert. Das Ergebnis ist zwar immer noch nicht perfekt aber deutlich näher an dem, was ich mir damals vorgestellt habe.
Ich hoffe euch gefällt die neue Version genauso gut wie mir!

As of today, a remastered version of Himmelwärts is available everywhere you can stream music!
The song is from 2022 and first appeared on the album Ad Astra.
Due to the more complex arrangement, it was difficult to mix the song and I was never one hundred per cent satisfied with the result.
That’s why I revisited the song again over two years later, rearranged, remixed and remastered it. The result is still not perfect but much closer to what I imagined back then.
I hope you like the new version as much as I do!
5th anniversary of EVIL DREAM
Heute vor genau 5 Jahren haben wir mit der Veröffentlichung der EVIL DREAM EP den Grundstein für alles gelegt, was wir seit dem erreicht haben.
Seit unserer Gründung haben wir drei Alben, zwei EPs und insgesamt über 40 Songs veröffentlicht. Und obwohl EVIL DREAM eigentlich nur als Studioprojekt gegründet wurde, haben wir dieses Jahr sogar unsere allererste Liveshow bestritten und möchten dieser auch noch weitere folgen lassen.
Deswegen möchten wir uns bei euch bedanken, dass ihr uns in der Zeit begleitet habt und freuen uns schon auf die nächsten 5 Jahre mit euch. Ohne euch wäre das nicht möglich gewesen.
Als kleines Dankeschön veröffentlichen wir heute unsere Jubiläumssingle Pure FKN Evil, welche wir euch schon bei unserer ersten Liveshow präsentiert haben.
Und da eine Version nicht genug ist, haben wir direkt noch eine Live Version des Songs dazu gepackt, welche wir auf der besagten Liveshow aufgenommen haben. Womöglich ist dies ja nicht der einzige Song, den wir da aufgenommen haben…

Exactly 5 years ago today, with the release of the EVIL DREAM EP, we laid the foundation for everything we have achieved since then.
Since the band was founded, we have released three albums, two EPs and over 40 songs in total. And although EVIL DREAM was actually only founded as a studio project, we even played our very first live show this year and would like to follow this up with more.
We would therefore like to thank you for accompanying us during this time and are already looking forward to the next 5 years with you. This would not have been possible without you.
As a small thank you, we are releasing our anniversary single Pure FKN Evil today, which we already presented to you at our first live show.
And because one version is not enough, we also added a live version of the song that we recorded at the live show mentioned above. Maybe that’s not the only song we recorded there…
Lost In Space Remastered OUT NOW!
Ab heute gibt es eine remasterte Version von Lost In Space (Ad Astra, 2022). Es ist ein ruhigerer und emotionalerer Song, welcher relativ am Ende des Songwritings entstanden ist.
Ich war damals nicht zu 100% zufrieden mit dem Sound und habe nun beschlossen, noch ein bisschen nachzubessern. Das Ergebnis ist immer noch nicht perfekt, ich wollte mich jedoch nicht zu weit weg vom Original bewegen und auch nur mit dem Ausgangsmaterial arbeiten, ohne etwas neu aufzunehmen.
Jedoch konnte ich den Mix deutlich verbessern und auch im Gesamtsound noch mehr herausholen. Alles in allem bin ich mit der Version deutlich zufriedener und wollte euch diese nicht vorenthalten.

Today I’m releasing a remastered version of Lost In Space (Ad Astra, 2022). It is a slower and more emotional song, which was written at the end of the songwriting process.
I was not 100% satisfied with the sound at the time and have now decided to improve it a little. The result is still not perfect, but I didn’t want to move too far away from the original and also only work with the source material without re-recording anything.
However, I was able to improve the mix considerably and also get more out of the overall sound. All in all, I’m much happier with this version and didn’t want to deprive you of it.
New album In Colour OUT NOW!
Today is the day.
Heute veröffentliche ich mein drittes Album In Colour und der Name könnte nicht treffender sein. Musikalisch wie Thematisch wage ich mich in komplett neue Gefilde und probiere neue Dinge aus.
Über ein Jahr lang habe ich an dem Album gearbeitet und ich bin der festen Überzeugung, dass sich die Mühe gelohnt hat.
Ein großer Dank an Familie und Freunde, für die Unterstützung und euer Feedback, ohne euch wäre das alles nicht möglich gewesen.
Ein großer Dank geht insbesondere an MR. HORROX aka Marcus, welcher mir für dieses Album mehr als ein Mal seine Stimme geliehen hat.
Mehr Worte will ich auch gar nicht verlieren, ein ausführliches Track by Track habe ich bereits vor ein paar Tagen veröffentlicht, dort könnt ihr die Hintergründe der Songs nachlesen.

Today I’m releasing my third album In Colour and the name couldn’t be more fitting. Musically and thematically, I venture into completely new realms and try out new things.
I worked on the album for over a year and I firmly believe that it was worth the effort.
A big thank you to family and friends for your support and feedback, without you none of this would have been possible.
A big thank you goes especially to MR. HORROX aka Marcus, who lent me his voice more than once for this album.
